Everywhere You Looked You Could See The Faces of Bali
As we walked or drove around during the week we were in Bali, we were interested to find the faces of Bali everywhere. Whether it was statues adorning the Temples of Bali, massive artistic displays in the centre of most intersections, decorative statues lining the streets, art in the nooks and crannies of buildings or the stone or wood artwork faces made by the locals. Everywhere we looked we could see the faces of Bali.
A picture blog …
Statues with the faces of Bali adorned were everywhere. Whether at public temples, private temples or just adorning buildings, the statues were detailed and animated, displaying a whole range of emotions.
We were amazed at the large statues we found at major intersections but were unsure how you would fight the crazy traffic to actually get close and admire the art.
If you wanted to take home your own sample of the faces of Bali, you could find artisans with huge displays of a wide variety for you to buy.

And if you were looking for the people that inspired the faces of Bali, all you had to do was look around. Whether the faces were on the scooters piled high with families, people at work or those taking some time out, the faces we saw in Bali caught our interest.
The tourists made sure they got lots of face pictures, even if they did often resort to selfies!
And if the people did not have faces that captured your interest, there are always a range of local animals with faces that will draw you in.

And when we looked through the viewfinder of the camera, we could always find our happy faces as we enjoyed this top on our SE Asia trip and captured the faces of Bali.
